Krushna Abhishek’s new comedy show “The Drama Company” starts with a bang from Jul, 16 on Sony TV at 8 PM. After a long tryst with controversies, the show will finally air on the same channel that also airs Kapil Sharma’s “The Kapil Sharma Show”.
Well, the inaugural episode was graced by the cast of “Munna Michael” i.e. actors Tiger Shroff, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Nidhi Agerwal. And now next guests would be none other than the wrestler Phogat sisters from Haryana. Aamir Khan’s 2016 blockbuster ‘Dangal’ made the world curious about the real Phogat sisters – Geeta and Babita.
The wrestler sisters have already shot for the upcoming sequence and they seemed to have a blast of a time in the company of some of the best comedians of country.
Actress Riddhima Pandit who outshone many with her small but sparkling act in the first show will be doing the role played by Sakshi Tanwar. Krushna will be Mahavir Phogat for the show. This is the first time, he is playing a father.
[ecp code=”4″]Geeta and Babita were accompanied by the former’s husband and ace wrestler Pawan Kumar to the show. They were all seen having a good time with the team where Babita Phogat showed few of her moves slamming Krushna Abhishek on stage.
Everyone on the set was stunned when the Dangal queen slammed Krushna Abhishek on the ground which left him in a midst. Everyone was excited to see the Olympic Champion showing off her skills on the stage.
Geeta Phogat’s real life chemistry with husband Pawan Kumar was also witnessed on the show, which will be soon aired. A source from the set said TOI,” It just hit Krushna like a rock. He was left in splits and was not expecting it to be this quick. Babita Phogat is indeed an ace wrestler.”
We hope Krushna hasn’t sprained his muscles from tackling the ace wrestler and is fit and fine to host ‘The Drama Company’. Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty is also a part of the show. Other comedians who are a part of “The Drama Company” includes the likes of Ali Asgar, Sudesh Lehri, Sugandha Mishra and Dr. Sanket Bhosale.
