‘Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo’ actor Manoj Goyal’s wife Neelima committed suicide on Saturday by hanging herself to the ceiling fan.

Reportedly, the incident took place when neither Manoj nor their eight-year-old daughter were at home. Manoj was out for work while their eight-year-old daughter went for tuition when his wife took this drastic step. Neelima left a suicide note saying that she was depressed and no one is to be blamed for her death.

Her sudden death came as a shocker to all. But the reason behind her death is heartbreaking. Reportedly she committed suicide due to depression caused by lack of money.

As per information coming in, Manoj’s wife Neelima, 40 committed suicide in their home in Kandivali, Mumbai.

“When the daughter came back home, she rang the bell but did not get a response for a long time. That’s when she informed the neighbors about it. They later informed us and we broke opened the door,” said a Samta Nagar police officer.

“We broke the bedroom door and found Neelima hanging from the ceiling fan. We also found a suicide note which revealed that she was depressed thus ending her life. She also wrote that no one should be held responsible for her death,” said the officer. “We have registered a case of accidental death in this regard and the family members do not suspect any foul play in the incident,” he added.

Manoj Goyal is known for his comedy shows on SAB TV like ‘Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo’, ‘Golmal Hai Bhai Sab Golmal Hai’ and ‘Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hai’. He also appeared in small roles in Hindi films such as ‘Company’, ‘Bunty Aur Babli’ and ‘Black’.
