Veteran actor Dilip Kumar, who was recently hospitalised after he suffered from dehydration, is back at his residence. Admitted for a week in the hospital, the fans all over India prayed for his health and finally the ‘Tragedy King’ was discharged from the hospital. He was rushed to Lilavati Hospital because of dehydration late night of Aug 2.
Bollywood’s Badshah, Shah Rukh Khan, visit the star at his residence. Kumar’s wife tweeted pictures from the evening that saw SRK greeting Dilip with a kiss on the forehead and spending some time chatting with Saira.
Saira wrote on Twitter – “Message from Saira Banu: Sahab’s mooh-bola beta-“son” @iamsrk visited Sahab today. Sharing some photos of the evening.”
SRK’s pictures with the legendary actor are very heart warming as he also kisses on Dilip Kumar’s forehead with affection. Saira writes in the next tweet – “2/ @iamsrk visited Sahab this evening. Sahab’s doing much better since return from the hospital. Shukar Allah.”

SRK, who is very fond of the legendary actor, had earlier told PTI, “Even words like ‘icon’ are very less for him. He is the forefather, the pillar of the film industry. Amongst the last few pillars left. He is one of the greatest human beings apart from being the actor. I know them personally so I can say that.”
Ever since, the news of Dilip Kumar’s illness broke out, people expressed their concern on social media. Now, as Saira has informed that the actor is doing fine, people can take a sigh of relief.
On the work front, SRK was last seen in Imtiaz Ali’s Jab Harry Met Sejal opposite Anushka Sharma. The movie opened to mixed reviews. He will next be seen in Aanand L Rai’s untitled project alongside Katrina Kaif and Anushka.
