Yash and Roohi were born pre-maturely and hence had to be kept neo-natal intensive care for about a month. In a statement Karan Johar had said, “I am ecstatic to share with you all the two most wonderful additions to my life, my children and lifelines; Roohi and Yash. I feel enormously blessed to be a parent to these pieces of my heart who were welcomed into this world with the help of the marvels of medical science.”

The children were born on February 7 in Mumbai’s Masrani Hospital where Shah Rukh Khan’s third child AbRam was delivered also by a surrogate mother.
