Bollywood is a man dominated industry where the actors usually paid more than the actress. But, their are some exceptional movies where the actress are paid more than the actors. Here are the 5 films where the actresses were paid more than the actors.

1. Kurbaan

‘Kurbaan’ is an Indian crime drama film directed by Rensil D’Silva and produced by Karan Johar. It is well known by all of us that at the time of this film Kareena was at the peak of her career. That is why she was paid more than Saif Ali Khan.

2. Padmavati

Deepika Padukone will be paid more than her co actors for the film Padmavati. She will be paid 13 crores. On the other hand, Shahid and Ranveer Singh will be paid 10 crores and 11 crores respectively.

3. Hum Apke Hain Kaun

Hum Apke Hain Kaun is a 1994 Indian musical romantic-comedy film, written and directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya, and produced by Rajshri Productions.  It was perhaps the first film of Bollywood, in which an actress was paid more than the actor. Anupam Kher revealed on Twitter that Madhuri Dixit was paid more than Salman Khan.

4. Piku

Piku is a 2015 Indian comedy-drama film directed by Shoojit Sircar and produced by N.P. Singh, Ronnie Lahiri and Sneha Rajani. It portrays a quirky relationship between a father and a caring daughter. During the promotion of his film Pink, he revealed that Deepika was paid more than him.

5. Katti Batti

 Kangana Ranaut charged 11 crores for Katti Batti. Whereas Imran Khan who has yet not established himself as a successful actor in the industry, charged less than her.
