The hugely popular show Sarabhai vs Sarabhai is making a return in our lives this summer. The show which went off air over a decade ago, will now return on the video-on-demand platform Hotstar as part of the Hotstar Originals bouquet. The show will take a seven-year leap.
Fans have been waiting eagerly to get a glimpse of their favourite TV family. On Tuesday, the team decided to meet their eager fans, alibi through social media as producer of the show JD Majethia, went live on Hotstar’s Facebook page from the sets of the show.
The entire cast was there in fact- Satish Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah, Rupali Ganguly, Sumeet Raghavan and Rajesh Kumar- dressed in their characters greeted fans via the live video
Our momma’s boy is still single. This time the search for Mrs Rosesh will be actively driven by Indravadan.
The video also gave the viewers a few hints about the new season which will be shown as a web series.
Bhojani who played Maya Sarabhai’s son-in-law Dushyant in the first season, also stated that his character would have different look.

The cast hinted at a sequel way back in June 2016 when they got together for a reunion.
The show will take a seven year leap. While the original cast remains the same, we hear there is a new addition to the family.
Deven Bhojani, the director of the show revealed that the child is unique. He is a combination of his parents, and even has glimpses of Maya. He is the right combination of everyone.
The second season would be aired on Hotstar from May onwards. But this video has just made the fans more impatient. May, come soon!
