After trying his hand at rapping on stage for the first time during Salman Khan’s world tour Da-Bangg, television host Maniesh Paul has collaborated with UK’s most popular and successful Asian music artists – PBN (Panjabi By Nature).
PBN is known for smash hits including Aashi and Dancefloor among others.
The most celebrated television host, who had recently flown to London for the second leg of Salman Khan’s Da-Bangg tour, which he will be hosting, will extend his stay by two days. The talented actor will now be shooting the video over two days.
Maniesh informs, “It’s a hip-hop Punjabi romantic song, which we will be shooting on a helipad. It’s my first single composed by PBN.”
“They had sent me the tune and the lyrics. I recorded the song scratch in 15 minutes and sent it to them. They loved it and said, “Whenever you are in London, we want to shoot the video,” Maniesh adds.
[ecp code=”4″]Recent reports suggest that the upcoming stand-up comedy show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, judged by superstar Akshay Kumar, had roped him in to host the show, with Elli Avram as the co-host. The two had starred in Maniesh’s Bollywood debut film mickey Virus (2013).However, a source close to Maniesh has denied the reports, saying, “Reports (of Maniesh hosting the show) are absolutely fake and baseless.”
The reports even mentioned that the makers were “keen to take the fun quotient a notch higher with Paul and his antics.. to cover up Avram’s bumbling Hindi when need be.” However, Maniesh made it clear when he tweeted the following:

Reacting to the reports of him co-hosting “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge” show with Elli Avram, Maniesh says he hasn’t even been approached for it. “I don’t know from where this news has come. I am not hosting it,” he maintains. When asked if he is open to it, he says he will take a call on it if and when he is approached. But, whenever he has hosted shows he has done it solo, wonder if he will agree to be a co-host!
