Siva Balaji becomes the winner of ‘Bigg Boss’ Telugu season 1, takes home Rs 50 lakh!

After 71 days of hardcore battle, actor Siva Balaji was declared the winner of the first season of Bigg Boss Telugu on Sunday.

Bigg Boss Telugu started with a bang with superstar Junior NTR on board as the host. Naturally, his presence was all that was needed to make the show reach the peak level.

The grand finale was between Naveep, Archana, Adarsha Balkrishna and Siva Balaji. Beating Naveep and Archana, Adarsha became the first runner up.

According to Tarak, out of the 12 crore odd votes received for the final week, Siva Balaji won a record of 3 crore 40 lakh votes.

Apart from trophy, Siva Balaji has been given a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh.

The grand finale, which was nothing short of a celebration, began with an energetic performance of composer Devi Sri Prasad who played the hit numbers from his latest release Jai Lava Kusa, which stars Jr NTR, the host of the show, in the lead. After Devi’s performance, NTR joined him on stage and matched steps, much to the excitement of the viewers and fans.

Junior NTR took social media to thank the fans for the love and support for the show. He tweeted, “#BiggBossTelugu has been a very challenging but enjoyable ride. Will always be grateful for all the love and support you have shown.
