Durga Puja is the major festival for Bengalis across the world, and is an occasion marks the battle of good over evil. Spread across 10 days, it signifies the birth of Durga with the blessings of the gods, as a collective energy, to fight the demon king Mahishasura.

Durga Puja in Mumbai is also an opportunity to do some star spotting. Many popular celebrities also spotted at various durga puja pandal in Mumbai. Bengali brigade, which includes actors Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Sushmita Sen, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and others.

Alia Bhatt is back in Mumbai after wrapping up the shoot for Meghna Gulzar’s Raazi in Kashmir. She was spotted with Ranbir Kapoor at a pandal in Juhu.

The two actors, who will be seen together in Ayan Mukerji’s next, were accompanied by the director to the venue of the celebrations.

Alia and Ranbir posed together for the cameras after offering prayers to a massive idol of goddess Durga in the pandal.

Actor Rani Mukerji was also seen at the pandal, looking stunning in a beige sari with a bright orange blouse.

Rani Mukerji’s family — her mother and brother — have been at the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja Samiti at Juhu, a western Mumbai suburb, every day, Rani finally made her appearance on Mahanavami.

Bhagyashree, best-known for her role in Salman Khan’s Maine Pyar Kiya, also visited the same pandal as Rani. She looked stunning in a heavy red saree and golden jewellery.
