Darshan Jariwala married twice with actress Apara Mehta, now living separately without divorce!

Popular face of entertainment industry Darshan Jariwala who appeared in popular shows like ‘Saas Bina Sasural’, ‘Adalat’, and ‘Ba Bahu Aur Baby’, turns 59 on Sep 29. Last, he appeared in ‘Sweety Weds NRI’. 

If we look into his personal life, he was married to ‘Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ actress Apara Mehta. The unusual thing about their relationship is that they have been married to each other twice. They have now separated, but have not sought a divorce.

Jariwala is the son of veteran Gujarati actress Leela Jariwala and Vidyasagar Jariwala. He has acted in films as well as on Indian television. He has acted in Hindi films like Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd, Guru, Aap Kaa Surroor, Phata Poster Nikla Hero and Humshakals.

Darshan married with Apara for the first time in 1980. While Darshan was 21 years old, Aparaar was 18. Both of them were married in a hurry and their family members didn’t attend the marriage, so in 1981 they get married in grand manner in the presence of both families. The couple have a daughter Kushali.  They have been living separately for a long time due to personal differences, but are not officially divorced.

The two, however, keep in touch with each other. Says a close friend of the couple, “Apara and Darshan have remained good friends even after their separation. The couple depend on each other a lot. Whenever Apara faces any problem, she turns to Darshan for help.”

Darshan is extremely fond of his daughter Khushali and she’s the only reason why they both continued to stay together despite their marital problems earlier. “After the birth of their daughter Khushali, they did not work together anymore. This is because they had decided that one of them would be there to look after their daughter. Both of them made an effort to keep Khushali away from their problems. Their daughter is one of the reasons why they are thinking of getting back together,” says the source.

 “We have always remained the best of friends and there has been no animosity between us. I would love to get back together. I won’t say anything beyond this now”, says Apara.

Aparan has work on stage since 1981. She has acted in over 150 plays in various roles. She has found a constant career in plays. She was last seen in ‘Jamai Raja’ as Nani.
