National Film Award winner actor Manoj Bajpayee is known for playing all characters with impeccable finesse. Be it a small part or a leading role, the actor never fails to leave a lasting impression on the audience.
The latest we hear that the talented actor has joined the cast of the upcoming action thriller film Baaghi 2. Starring Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani in key roles, the movie is a sequel to Tiger’s 2016 hit Baaghi.
“Manoj really liked the script. He is also very fond of the casting director, Mukesh Chhabra, and director Ahmed Khan, who he has known since many years. Ahmed had choreographed him in Ram Gopal Varma’s Satya. He will start shooting for the film soon,” said a source speaking to Mirror.
[ecp code=”4″]Tiger, had played the lead in the Sabbir Khan-directed 2016 original, Baaghi, opposite Shraddha Kapoor. Part 2 went on the floors on September 18 and wrapped up its first schedule late last month in Pune.
Baaghi 2 will also star Prateik Babbar in the role of the antagonist.
Both Tiger Shroff and Manoj Bajpayee belong to two different schools of acting and it remains to be seen what magic they create on screen. Tiger’s last film “Munna Michael” too had the unusual casting of Tiger and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
The first part of Baaghi was directed by Sabbir Khan while for Baaghi 2, Ahmed Khan has stepped in. It’s all set to release on April 27, 2018.
