Saif Ali Khan starrer ‘Chef’ has been released in cinemas. The film is based Jon Favreau’s 2014 Hollywood hit by the same name.

Story of the movie: The story of the movie revolves around Roshan Kalra (Saif Ali Khan) who works at a restaurant in the US. But, he loses his job due an incident and comes back to India (Kerala) to his son Ary (Svar Kamble) and his ex-wife, Radha (the gorgeous Padmapriya).Well, here he gets an offer by a businessman, Biju (the hottie Milind Soman) to start a meals on wheels business. How Roshan sets the business, rediscovers himself, and how family becomes important for him, forms the rest of the story.

Star Performance: Saif Ali Khan delivers a brilliant performance. On the other hand, Padmapriya looks beautiful and has acted well. Svar Kamble is good in his part and Chandan Roy Sanyal is also impressive. Unfortunately Sobhita Dhulipala, doesn’t get much scope here. Talking about Milind Soman, he steals the show with his charming looks whenever on the screen.

Music Direction: Raghu Dixit and Amaal Mallik have given music according to the film. Every song is very well placed in the film.

Direction: The film’s direction and background score is good. The real locations of Kerela and New York seems quite attractive. As the movie shows the bond between a father and a son, more work could be done on the story. Priya Seth’s camera work is outstandingly brilliant. She has captured the true essence of India, beautifully. The climax of the film could be even better.

Watch Or Not: If you were essentially waiting for a movie filled with an emotional drama of family relationships, then you can watch it once.
