MP CM has finally said to Padmavati release in M.P., and the media can’t keep calm! After the decisions passed by UP government and Punjab government, now the MP government says a big no to SLB’s period drama.
This is what MP CM Mr. Chouhan has to speak about Padmavati release “Etihaisik tathyon se khilwaad kar agar Padmavati ji ke samman ke khilaaf film mein drishya dikhaye gaye hain, uss Film ka pradharshan Madhya Pradesh ki dharti par nahi hoga (The history has been tinkered with and Queen Padmavati has been shown in poor light, such a movie will not be allowed in Madhya Pradesh),”.
Earlier, an Akhil Bhartiya Kshatriya Mahasabha’s youth wing leader, Buvneshwar Singh also said ‘Deepika should know how it feels like to be burnt alive. The actress will never know the sacrifice of the queen.
“We demand that office-bearers of the organisation be shown the movie before it is released. Deepika would know the real character of Rani Padmavati when she is burnt alive. We will give Rs 1 crore to anyone forcing her to do so.” he added.
Keshav Prasad Maurya, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, too, has jumped on the bandwagon, by announcing that he will not let Padmavati release in the state until controversial scenes are snipped. “The legendary queen had sacrificed her life instead of surrendering before the Mughals and made a place for herself in the history. Islamic invaders created a lot of mayhem in the country. The ‘Rani’ burnt herself alive in ‘Jauhar’ for her ‘satitva’ (pride) and dignity,”
Also, Captain Amarinder Singh has also expressed not wanting Padmavati release in Punjab. Talking to media, he said, ”Nobody will accept the distortion of history and those who are protesting are rightly doing so.”
Lets see where this fight goes!
