Padman is one of the most awaited movie of 2018, and there are many reasons why. After teasing us with trailer, some posters and songs, now the makers of the film just released the third song from the film.
Titled ‘Hu Ba Hu’, the song is really soulful number. The song shows the sweet chemistry between Akshay and Sonam.
In the song, we see how Akshay goes from schools to colleges to villages to cities and other states in India and tries to spread awareness about sanitary pads. He provides free sanitary pads to several women and inspires them to live their life freely.
The song has been sung and composed by Amit Trivedi with vocals by Rajiv Sundaresan and Suhas Sawant and lyrics by Kausar Munir.
[ecp code=”4″]Directed by R Balki, the film aims at starting a discussion on women mensuration hygiene in rural areas.
The film is based on the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, who is the inventor of a low-cost sanitary pad making machine and has helped spread awareness about traditional unhygienic practices around menstruation in rural India.
The film is Twinkle Khanna’s production venture in association with Gauri Shinde. ‘Padman’ also stars Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte who play the female leads in the film.
Written and directed by R Balkiof ‘Ki and Ka’ fame, ‘Padman’ definitely looks promising.
The film is slated to release on January 26, 2018.
