Renuka Shahane, Pulkit Samrat and Richa Chadda starrer ‘3 Storeys’ has been released in cinemas. The film revolves around 3 stories, stating, every person has a story behind the masks they wear — simple, twisted, happy, sad… but almost always fascinating.

Story of the movie: The movie focuses on three stories – first one of Mrs Mendonca (Renuka Shahane) and Mr Naik (Pulkit Samrat), the second one of Varsha (Masumeh Makhija) and Shankar (Sharman Joshi) and third one of Sohail (Ankit Rathi) and Malini (Aisha Ahmed).

First track revolves around Vilas Naik (Pulkit Samrat) looking out for a house in Mumbai and meets Auntie Florie (Renuka Shahane). Florie wants to sell her house but also applied some conditions behind him, for which Naik hesitates in accepting it.

The second story is about a cliched Bollywood couple of Varsha (Masumeh Makhija) and Shankar (Sharman Joshi). It’s about the fate of their love story and how they give each other duration of one year to go and make it big in life. The third one is about a young couple in Suhel (Ankit Rathi) and Malini (Aisha Ahmed) and how their cast comes in between their love. But again as the rest two stories, this also has a twist towards the end.

Star Performance: Renuka Shahane has delivered a brilliant performance in the film. While, Pulkit Samrat is also very good with his limited presence. While, others like Masumeh Makhija, Richa Chadha, Sharman Joshi has done justice to their roles.

Music Direction: The film’s music is okay. Arijit Singh and Jonita Gandhi’s Bas Tu Hai is a delightful surprise.

Direction: The film’s direction is good. Locations, cinematography and editing is also impressive. The story of the film is also good. The way, the film has been narrated by Arjun Mukerjee, that’s praise worthy. The only problem here is that while the screenplay in the first half is tight and engaging, the second half loses it’s grip a bit especially in the last story.

Watch Or Not: If you like suspense thriller films, than go and watch.
