No wedding cards gets printed for Sonam and Anand’s wedding, couple to tie the knot on May 8!

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor’s wedding with Anand Ahuja has become a talk of the town. The wedding is all seto to take place on May 8 in Mumbai followed by Sangeet and Mehendi ceremony.


Their wedding ceremonies shall take place at three different locations. It will be a big fat Indian wedding. Choreographer Farah Khan has been approached to choreograph the sangeet.

Ever since the couple’s wedding is announced, the couple fan’s have been anxiously waiting for all the wedding details and the latest we hear that there will be no wedding cards for Sonam and Anand.

Yes you read that right, according to a report in Bollywood Life, the couple’s families will be sending the e-invites instead of wedding cards.

A source revealed, “Both Sonam and Anand believe in paper conservation. They believe that wedding cards mean a lot of waste of paper. Hence they have asked their families to not print any invitation cards. Instead, they have designed an elegant e-invite together which will be sent to their friends and relatives on their phones.”

Reports also suggest that Sonam’s cousin Janhvi Kapoor will be performing on her late mother Sridevi’s hit numbers like ‘Mere Haathon Mein Nau Nau Chudiyan’, ‘Kisi Ke Haath Naa Aayegi Yeh Ladki’, among others. Not just Janhvi, but also filmmaker Karan Johar, Sanju co-star Ranbir Kapoor, cousin Arjun Kapoor too will be seen grooving at Sonam and Anand’s Sangeet.

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja have reportedly been dating for almost two years now. Anand also shares a very cordial bond with Sonam’s family. He is often spotted with her dad Anil Kapoor and mom Sunita.

Anand Ahuja is the owner of label Bhane, a brand which is part of Sonam’s uber-stylish fashion wardrobe. Meanwhile, Sonam and her sister Rhea also have their own clothing line, Rheson.
