No evidence to support Kapil Sharma’s calims on his ex-manager, says cops

Popular comedian and TV host Kapil Sharma is going through a tough times of his life. A couple of weeks ago, the ace comedian got into a controversy because of his abusive tweets.

Not only this, he also filed a legal complaint against Vickey Lalwani and his rumored ex-girlfriend and producer Preeti Simoes and her sister Neeti Simoes for trying to extort Rs 25 lakhs from him.

Sharma had alleged that Lalwani started malicious propaganda to defame him in the digital media after he refused to pay him the amount.

Now, it is being said that the charges leveled by Sharma did not match with the statements given by his former and current employees. So no arrests have been made so far.

Police sources said that when they recorded the statements of the people connected to Sharma’s employees, they said that the former managers of the comedian, who were named in the complaint, shared a cordial relationship.

Subhash Khan-vilkar, senior police inspector of Oshiwara police station was quoted by the portal as saying, “Sharma’s allegations have not been verified in the statements recorded, and hence there is no progress in the case.”
