Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor is all set to tie the knot with her boyfriend Anand Ahuja on May 8, 2018 in Mumbai. The preparations are in full swing.
A statement on behalf of the Kapoor and Ahuja families was also issued on Tuesday. “The Kapoor and Ahuja families take great joy and pride in announcing the marriage of Sonam and Anand. The wedding will take place on May 8 in Mumbai,” read the statement.
Recently, the filmmaker and sister of Sonam Kapoor, Rhea, shared a video on Instagram where Arjun Kapoor is seen visiting Sonam with sister Anshula.
The video shows Arjun standing at the door. A voice (we presume it is Rhea’s) asks him: “What are you saying, Chaach?” To which he replies, “It’s like I am watching Dheere Dheere getting live. The reality… Like aur kitne tareefan chahiye tainu? Sonu, you are not even listening, you not interested.”
Amid much laughter, we heard another female voice saying, “No, no… I am just figuring something out.” That sounds like Sonam.

Sonam will be marrying her long-time beau Anand on May 8. It will be a big fat Indian wedding. There will be three different functions- Mehendi, Sangeet and the D-Day and all of these will be held at three different venues.
Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja have reportedly been dating for almost two years now. Anand also shares a very cordial bond with Sonam’s family. He is often spotted with her dad Anil Kapoor and mom Sunita.
Anand Ahuja is the owner of label Bhane, a brand which is part of Sonam’s uber-stylish fashion wardrobe. Meanwhile, Sonam and her sister Rhea also have their own clothing line, Rheson.
Sonam Kapoor has a busy month ahead of her. Soon after her wedding, Sonam will attend the Cannes Film Festival on May 14 and May 15. This will be her eighth year at Cannes as the brand ambassador of L’Oreal. Her film Veere Di Wedding will hit the screens a fortnight later on June 1.
