Blackbuck poaching case: Salman Khan’s bail plea hearing adjourned until July 17!

Salman Khan’s bail plea hearing in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case was on Monday adjourned to July 17 by a Jodhpur trial court. ‘


The actor arrived in Jodhpur on Sunday afternoon for the hearing with his sister Alvira Khan, friend Baba Siddiqui and lawyers.

The actor has been convicted in the black buck poaching case of 1998. A Jodhpur court has sentenced Bollywood superstar to five-year jail term in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, while other actors Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam Kothari have been acquitted.

Before getting the bail, Khan spent two nights in Jodhpur Central jail. While granting the bail, the court had ordered Khan to seek legal permission before leaving the country.

He was charged under Section 51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act and others under Section 51 read with Section 149 (unlawful assembly) of the Indian Penal Code.
