Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Sanju’ is one of the much-awaited films of the year. The film has been hitting the headlines even before its release. Meanwhile, the recently released trailer of the film is getting brilliant response from the audience.
In the film, Manisha Koirala is essaying the role of Nargis Dutt. The actress has recently shared a picture on her Instagram account, and the uncanny resemblance of the actress with Late Nargis will leave you in splits.
The actress posted the video and captioned it as, “Many different looks were tried on.. through various photographs and books and documentary.. here are few for you guys.. peep in to what goes on to creat a look..amongst other things we tried many hair styles,” she wrote.

Earlier, in an interview with IANS, Manisha had said, “This is new to me. I’ve always been a spontaneous actor. But for Sanju, I did a lot of research on Nargisji. The film focuses on Nargis the doting mother who wanted to protect her son from the truth about her health until his first film was released. Unfortunately, she passed away before her son debut film ‘Rocky’ released. This really broke him,” she said.
Sanju traces the life of Sanjay Dutt from his rise to fall and rise again. Dutt has been controversy’s favourite child for a really long time. For illegal possessing arms, he was sentenced to prison.
The biopic also stars Anushka Sharma, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Karishma Tanna, Vicky Kaushal, Dia Mirza and Jim Sarbh.
The film is slated to release on June 29, 2018.
