Bollywood filmmaker Imtiaz Ali who gave us many hit films like Rockstar, Jab We Met, Highway, Tamasha is back with new project ‘Laila Majnu’.
The film has been in the news since the teaser was released. well, Imtiaz has dropped another teaser of the film titled ‘Laila Majnu – Tales by Imtiaz Ali’.
The teaser shows Imtiaz sitting with a book in his hands and explaining what true love is. He said, “Every generation tells the new generation that love is what used to be in their generation and not what is there in the present. And that the new generation knows nothing about love. I don’t believe that love belongs to a previous generation, I believe that love belongs to every generation.”
[ecp code=”4″]He strongly believes that even in today’s generation Laila and Majnu still exist. The teaser ends with, “Humari kahani likhi hui hai (our story has been written).”
Laila Majnu is said to be a modern day re-telling of the classic love story of Laila-Majnu.
Directed by Sajid Ali and presented by Imtiaz Ali and Ekta Kapoor, the film is slated to release on August 24.
