Television actor Kavi Kumar Azad who plays the role of Dr Hansraj Hathi in ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’ breathed his last on July 9.
The sudden demise of the actor has left the TV industry and fans in a state of shock. He breathed his last after suffering a cardiac arrest.
The actor has cremated at the Mira Road (East) Crematorium. Kavi was playing the role of Dr Haathi on the show for 8 years.
The show’s entire team is in a state of shock over Kavi’s sudden death and has now decided to cancel their 10 years celebration plans due to same reason.
[ecp code=”4″]According to a report in Tellychakkar, there might be a puja on the sets on July 28, but all the celebrations that were planned initially have been called off.
Meanwhile, the makers are all set to replace Dr. Hathi in the show. Producer of the show Asit Kumarr Modi told Spotboye.com, “We will have to replace Dr Hathi if you want to know. It’s the actor who has passed away, not the character.”
The makers are yet to finalise the actor who will replace late Kavi Kumar Azad on the show.
The actor was unwell for past some days and slipped into a coma. He was admitted in Wokhardt Hospital at Mira Road where he breathed his last.
