After song Mohabbat, Halka-Halka and ‘Acche Din’ now the makers has released another song ‘Tere Jaisa Tu Hai’ from the film.
The song focuses on the struggles of a teenager, played by newcomer Pihu Sand who wants to make her name in the music industry. But, she faces discrimination at singing competitions because of her overweight. Anil Kapoor as the father and Divya Dutta as the mother, are shown to be very supportive of their daughter.The song shows how they are a part of the sad and the happy moments of their child’s journey to success.
The song has been sung by Monali Thakur and lyrics have been penned by Irshad Kamil.
Fanney Khan tells the story of a doting father and aspiring singer played by Anil Kapoor. It will see Aishwarya Rai in the role of a glamorous singing sensation.
[ecp code=”4″]The film will also star Rajkumar Rao as Aishwarya’s love interest. Fanney Khan also marks Aishwarya and Anil Kapoor’s collaboration after 17 years. The two last shared screen space in Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai.
The film is the Hindi adaptation of the 2000 Dutch release Everybody’s Famous directed by Dominique Deruddere, which was also nominated in the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 73rd Academy Awards.
Directed by Atul Manjrekar and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and nominees of ROMP, the film is slated to hit theatres on August 3.
