Sonali Bendre become a role model and an inspiration to millions. The 44-year-old actor was diagnosed with high-grade cancer last year and had to undergo treatment in New York.
She returned home in December and has resumed work. The sudden news of the actress suffering from cancer had broken the hearts of many.
Recently, she did a photoshoot for Vogue magazine and needless to say, the actress looks gorgeous as ever.

Vogue shared a series of pictures from the photoshoot and captioned it as, ““I’m okay with it now… I don’t even miss it,” says Sonali Bendre Behl (@iamsonalibendre) as she runs her hand neck upwards. “Yet it [my hair] was the be-all, end-all of my life. It was this stupid thing that I was hanging on to,” she shares. “My instinct was to wear a cap, a scarf or a wig—but these things are so ugly. I knew that if I had to accept it [going bald], I had to put a picture out there. In the pic, the actress is looking simply gorgeous as she sports quirky headgear.
Speaking to Vogue about accepting her look and especially dealing with losing her hair, she said, “I’m okay with it now… I don’t even miss it. Yet it [my hair] was the be-all, end-all of my life.
