Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh who is all set to portray the role of Kapil Dev in the upcoming film 83 has begun training for the film.
Ranveer along with the entire team of the film recently headed to Dharamshala for an intensive training session.
And now, the actor has shared the two new pictures from the training camp. In the pic, the actor is seen with former cricketer Kapil Dev. The two can be seen sporting the Indian cricket team’s blue jersey and can be seen talking to each other. The cricketer seems to be giving some tips to the actor.
He captioned the pic as, “Becoming the Hurricane. Kapil Dev. Legend. Journey begins… ’83’.”

Ranveer Singh preps with Kapil Dev
Ranveer and the rest of the film’s cast are being trained by Balwinder Singh Sandhu for the film.
The sports drama is based on India’s historic win against West Indies at the 1983 world cup and Ranveer will be seen playing former Indian skipper Kapil Dev.

Directed by Kabir Khan, the film will go on floors on May 15.
