Alia Bhatt gets offended by Kiku Sharda’s jokes on The Kapil Sharma Show? Comedian clarifies

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is currently busy in the promotions of her upcoming film Kalank. The actress along with her film’s co-stars – Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur has recently graced The Kapil Sharma Show to promote their film.

 But news has it that recently, Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt got offended during the shoot.

The report suggest that Alia Bhatt didn’t enjoy Kiku Sharda’s constant jokes on her. She was spotted looking uncomfortable at several instances. Even Varun Dhawan cracked a few jokes on her which the diva initially took sportingly but later got irritated with.

However, Kiku recently clarified and said that it is not true and that Alia enjoyed a lot on the show.

Clarifying the rumours, Kiku told Pinkvilla, “This is just a rumour. She has enjoyed a lot on the show. I have no idea how this rumour started, but if you watch the episode, you will see how much she has enjoyed on the show’.

He further added, “Alia is a very sporting person and has laughed a lot on the show”.

Kalank is a period flick set in the 1940s and is back by Karan Johar under his home banner Dharma Productions. The idea of Kalank was conceptualised by Karan’s late father Yash Johar 15 years back and it was revealed by him a few days back. The film is set against the backdrop of India’s partition.
