A day after Ajay Devgn’s father Veeru Devgan passed away, now Kajol’s mother Tanuja got hospitalized due to abdominal pain and is expected to undergo operation for a condition called diverticulitis.
Tanuja, 75, was admitted to city-based Lilavati Hospital. Kajol was spotted outside the hospital as she went to see her mother.
Tanuja is a popular Bollywood actor and hails from a prominent film family. She was married to filmmaker Shomu Mukherjee but the two had parted ways long ago before his death in 2008.

She is known for films like “Memdidi”, “Chand Aur Suraj”, “Baharen Phir Bhi Aayengi”, “Jewel Thief”, “Nai Roshni”, “Jeene Ki Raah”, “Haathi Mere Saathi”, “Anubhav”, “Mere Jeevan Saathi” and “Do Chor.”
On Monday, Kajol’s father-in-law, father of Ajay Devgn, Veeru Devgan died of cardiac arrest. A statement issued by the Devgan family on Monday read, “With profound grief and sorrow, we regret to inform that Mr.Veeru Devgan, veteran action master and father of actor Ajay Devgn passed away this morning. The funeral was held at Vile Parle West Crematorium at 6:00 pm on 27th May 2019.”

Many bigwigs from the industry came to pay homage to the veteran stunt director. At the funeral, Kajol was inconsolable as she was seen crying in the arms of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
