Here’s why Vidya Balan lost Jayalalitha’s biopic to Kangana Ranaut

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is all set to star in Jayalalitha’s biopic. Earlier, the role was offered to actress Vidya Balan. However, she was apparently dropped from the project.

However, what made the makers to replace the actress is still a question. Well now, we came to know the reason for Vidya’s exit from the film.

According to reports, the actress asked too many questions about her role which got the producers uncomfortable as they had no answers to her queries at that point of time, that’s why she dropped from the film.

Later, the writer of the film suggested Kangana’s name for the role, who had just worked together with her for ‘Manikarnika’.

Talking about being a part of this biopic, Kangana earlier shared,“Jayalalithaa ji is one of the biggest female success stories of this century. She was a superstar and went on to become an iconic politician, it’s a great concept for the mainstream film. I am honoured to be a part of this mega project.”
