Former Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar and his wife Rubab Begum has welcomed their second child on Thursday at 5 pm.
Recently, Shoaib took to his YouTube channel on July 4 to share the good news and asked his fans to suggest a good name.
In the video, Shoaib says, “I am overwhelmed by the feeling of being a father for the second time. I am thankful for Allah for blessing me with the second son and I cannot tell you the feeling as it is something out of the world that I cannot explain”.

Talking about sharing the pictures of his newborn, Shoaib also mentioned that he does not want his kid to be in the centre of the limelight and be always followed after like Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s star-son Taimur Ali Khan gets followed.

He said – “tasveer main nahi share karunga, thoda sa main ispe yakeen nahi rakhta ki mai tasveer dikhaoon apne bete ki… jab pehla beta bhi hua tha toh bohot kam maine uski tasveeren zabardasti mujhse kaha gaya tasveer nikaalne ko.. kyonki mai nahi samjhta ki wo limelight mei aaye ya uspe camera pan ho jis tarah saif ka beta taimur hai.. uspe hamesha camera pan rehta hai so there’s lots of pressure on the kids. So i don’t want that to happen with my kids!”
As soon as the cricketer announced this news, congratulatory messages have also started to pour in for Shoaib on becoming a proud father for the second time.
Shoaib got married to Rubab Khan in 2014 and their first child, son Mohammad Mikaeel Ali arrived on 7th November, 2016.
Known as the Rawalpindi Express, Akhtar holds the record for bowling the fastest measured delivery in international cricket, at the speed of 161.3 kmph.
