Koena Mitra slams new version of O Saki Saki from Batla House, calls it a mess


Today, the makers of John Abraham starrer Batla House has released the first song O Saki Saki from the film.

The song features Nora Fatehi showing some of her killer moves. Though Nora is being lauded by netizens for her killing moves in the song, but the recreated version hasn’t gone down too well with Koena Mitra, the actress who featured in the original version of the song in Musafir (2004).

Koena took to Twitter and wrote, “My song from Musafir #Saaki Saaki” has been recreated. Sunidhi, Suhwinder, Vishal, Shekhar combination was outstanding. Didn’t like the new version, it’s a mess! This song had crashed many blockbusters! Why batlahouse, why? P. S: Nora is a stunner. Hope she saves our pride.”

The film is based on Batla House encounter, officially known as Operation Batla House. The incident took place on September 19, 2008, against Indian Mujahideen (IM) terrorists in Batla House locality in Jamia Nagar, Delhi.
