Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana is currently basking the glory of his recently released film Bala. The actor who has also been vocal about many issues has recently delivered a powerful speech on what on what makes a man perfect.
Ahead of International Men’s Day on 19 November, Ayushmann shared a video, where he denounced common stereotypes associated with masculinity.

He captioned the video as, “What makes a true gentleman? This coming International Men’s Day let’s find out with me and @themancompany #themancompany #gentlemaninyou (sic).”
Ayushmann talks about how to keep the gentleman in oneself alive. He gave references from his own life, saying that he does not want to be a macho man who never sheds a tear, saying “Mujhe na hero, na saviour, na superman banna tha. Jo ro sake, jo ga sake. Kisi ko bacha paye to bacha sake, aisa man banna tha.”
The speech is penned by screenwriter Gaurav Solanki, who previously served as a writer on Ayushmann’s cop film Article 15.
On work front, Ayushmann will next seen in Shoojit Sircar’s next directorial venture Gulabo Sitabo, alongside Amitabh Bachchan.
