Actor Kamal Haasan who was admitted at Apollo Hospitals in Chennai for implant removal in his leg has returned home.
In 2016, Kamal Haasan underwent an major surgery in his leg after a nasty fall from 18 feet at his Chennai office. During the surgery, an implant was placed in his leg. But, due to his busy schedule, he didn’t get time for the implant removal procedure.
The actor was admitted to the hospital on November 22 to get the plate removed and was discharged yesterday evening.
Upon arrival, the actor was welcomed by his family and close relatives.

The actor has been advised to take rest for a couple of weeks to physically recoup. A press statement from his party Makkal Needhi Maiam read, “After the successful completion of surgery in his leg, Kamal Haasan has been discharged based on the doctor’s suggestion.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, he is currently shooting for director Shankar’s upcoming film Indian 2.
