After unveiling the motion poster, now the makers of Shikara has released the trailer of the film. The film tells the story of around 4,00,000 Kashmiri Pandits who had to fled the Valley in a mass exodus in 1990.
The trailer starts with a scene showing a young couple, Shanti Dhar and Shiv Kumar Dhar, sitting inside their home when they seen a house burning from their window. As they rush to the window to see what has happened, we are shown rushes of houses burning and glass panes breaking.

This is followed by a montage of events that unfolded in January 1990 as over four lakh Kashmiri pandits were forced out of their home and had to leave the valley and they become refugees in their own country.
Produced by Vinod Chopra Productions and co-produced by Fox star studios, ‘Shikara’ is set to hit the screens on 7th February.
