Kanika Kapoor once again tested positive for COVID-19

The Bollywood playback singer Kanika Kapoor, who won everyone’s heart through her sweet voice has been tested positive for the coronavirus.

She recently returned from the UK and even attended a party before testing positive. Almost after 10 days from her return, Kanika Kapoor tested positive for COVID-19.

Well now, according to latest reports, the singer tested positive again in a second test for COVID-19 conducted on Monday.

Kanika Kapoor once again tested positive

The singer’s sample was tested again at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences here after her family members raised questions about the initial test reports.

Meanwhile, it has been stated that she came in contact with 162 people out of which 63 people have been tested negative for COVID-19. “Swab samples of these persons are being collected and sent for testing at designated labs,” said the report. The party that was attended by Kanika also saw the presence of former Chief Minister Of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje and her son. They have been tested negative.

Meanwhile, the singer has been booked under Sections 188, 269, and 270 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Sarojini Nagar police station in the city. The FIR was lodged based on a complaint filed by the chief medical officer (CMO) of Lucknow.
