The soft-spoken Moksh was in an exclusive interview. Here are the excerpts.

Tell us about how you started your cricketing journey?

When I was 6 years old, I saw MS Dhoni hitting huge sixes against Pakistan during the early period of his career. I got inspired and start playing gully cricket all day and night and tried to copy him and after that when I was 7 years old I started playing professionally in the academy.

How did you make a comeback?

I was suffering from a severe back injury last year. But I knew if I gave up then it may be the end of my cricketing career so I kept on working on that particular area, doing Rehab sessions. My coach also played an important role in my comeback.

What gives you strength and inspiration?

My parents are my strength and inspiration. I also want to add my friends, they always show a belief in me and always motivate me to do keep going. I can never compensate for the efforts that my parents made for me. My parents always motivated me to work harder whenever the thing is not in our favor.
