FIR filed against Kamaal R Khan for his derogatory tweets on late actors Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan

An FIR has been filed against actor KRK aka Kamal R Khan in Mumbai for allegedly passing derogatory remarks about late actors Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan on Twitter.

Reportedly, in April, Kamaal had taken to his twitter handle had tweeted about how Rishi should not die as liquor shops will be open soon.

A few days before Irrfan Khan’s demise, KRK passed a derogatory comment on the ‘Angrezi Medium’ actor. He said that Irrfan took money from the producers, but did not complete the shooting of their films.

As per a report in PTI, the complaint was lodged against KRK by Yuva Sena’s core committee member. “We have registered an FIR against Kamal R Khan for making derogatory remarks about both the deceased actors under section 294 (punishment for obscene acts or words in public) and other provisions of the IPC,” a senior police official told PTI.

Irrfan breathed his last on April 29, whereas veteran actor, Rishi, died on April 30. The sudden demise of the two actors left the entire film industry in a state of shock.
