Irrfan Khan’s next film Hindi Medium stars Pakistani actress Saba Qamar but the actor is busy having a laugh over the whole issue.
Given that Pakistani artistes are banned from working in Indian films following the Uri attacks, one wonders if Saba is still a part of Irrfan’s film.

At an event held this weekend, when the star was quizzed about his next film having a Pakistani actress, Irrfan said that Saba Qamar gets married to an Indian in the movie, so technically she is an Indian. While the press here understood the joke, Pakistan didn’t.
Not just that, but the actor’s joke also landed Saba in some serious trouble. She has been receiving lot of death threats as some people in Pakistan think that she has married an Indian.
Saba is well known Pakistani actress. She became a cover girl of various magazines.
