4. Biopic on Pullela Gopichand
While PV Sindhu and Saina Nehwal’s victory have already made them a star, we are yet to know who the face behind making these ladies champions is. A biopic on Pullela Gopichand, the man behind India’s badminton success in Olympics, is directing by filmmaker Praveen Sattaru. The biopic will be made in three languages, Telugu, Hindi and English. Sudheer Babu, brother-in-law of Telugu actor Mahesh Babu, will play Gopichand.

5. Biopic on Dhyan Chand
Based on the story of how Dhyan Chand achieved success during the British Raj in India for being one of the legendary hockey players of the world, this biopic is said to be produced by Karan Johar. The hockey player was a three-time Olympic gold medal winner and was widely popular as ‘The Wizard’ due to his control on the ball. There were rumours of Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor being suggested to portray the legendary player but it has also been rumoured that Varun Dhawan will be playing the role of Dhyan Chand.
