Priyanka Chopra wins her second People’s Choice Awards for ‘Quantico’

Bollywood beauty Priyanka Chopra is creating a wave in the west with her performances.

The actress not only won the red carpet — obviously, she won her second People’s Choice Award for “Quantico” as well. The actor defeated her ABC counterparts Ellen Pompeo, Kerry Washington, Taraji P. Henson, and Viola Davis to win in Favourite Dramatic TV Actress award.

This is Priyanka’s second award in a row and we are so proud of her.

She opted for a Sally LaPointe peach dress for the big night and looks absolutely stunning.

The actress expressed her gratitude and thanked her co-stars after winning the award. She even thanked her co-nominees for inspiring her. She said, “I’m really happy being a drama queen if this is how it’s done. This has been an incredible journey. Every single woman who was nominated with me today, all of these incredible actresses, were the reason that I joined television, they were the reason that I wanted to be the actor I am here today. Receiving this award today and being in the same category as them is just so overwhelming. Thank you to all of you who have accepted me and loved my show! Thank you to my Quantico wonderful cast and to all of you who are going to watch Quantico on Monday now.”

Speaking about her injury on Quantico’s sets, the actor told media, “I was a little nervous… I didn’t know if I would make it, but I got so bored sitting on my couch for three days.”

Priyanka’s mother and Baywatch co-star Dwayne Johnson was among the audience. Priyanka will make her Hollywood debut with Baywatch in summer this year.

The actress also took to Instagram to express her elation over the big win.

Priyanka made India proud as she carried home the trophy of the best actress in a new series in 2016 People’s Choice Award, donning a shimmering Vera Wang dress.
