Actor Akshay Kumar who had recently posted a video on his social media profiles – Facebook and Twitter – in the wake of Bengaluru mass molestation took to Twitter again to thank his fans for their support to his last video. Akki posted another video on Tuesday evening, where he stated that he wants to start a website or a mobile app to assist army servicemen financially.

“This website will host a list of the names of the martyrs, along with their bank account numbers. If you want to help that jawan financially, you can directly make a contribution into their accounts. That account number will be deleted once the total deposited money accounts to Rs 15 lakh. By this, family members of the slain soldiers can directly use that money.” actor says in the video.

The 49-year-old actor urged his fans to think over what he has said in the video and provide their feedback. He also mentioned that if he receives positive feedback and enough support from the people then he would initiate the setup of such a website or mobile app with the approval of the armed forces and the government.
He added that if everyone together makes this initiative possible then that would be the biggest mark of respect that we as citizens can pay to the soldiers on Republic Day.
Here is the video where he asks the public to support him so that he can get the app designed and produced himself, with permissions from the Indian Army and support from the Government of India.
