Rajkumar Hirani’s biopic on Sanjay Dutt finally went on floors on January 13. And, film’s lead actor Ranbir Kapoor is not leaving any stone unturned to update his look for the biopic.
Ranbir has put in a lot of effort to adopt Dutt’s gait and body language. He had reportedly watched around 200 hours of footage of the actor to get into the skin of his character.

As if putting on 13 kilos to match Dutt’s physique wasn’t enough, reports now claim that the ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ actor will sport the same tattoos as Sanjay in the film.
Ranbir will allegedly sit down with the same artist who designed Dutt’s tattoos and get similar designs for himself.
While Ranbir is currently shooting for the portions where Dutt is young, the team has started putting together all that they need to figure out for the other schedule, which will show Ranbir play a much older Dutt.
The film stars Paresh Rawal as Sanjay Dutt’s father (Sunil Dutt) and Manisha Koirala will play his mother (Nargis). Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza are playing important characters in the film.
The biopic is expected to release in December 2017.
