The actor is currently rehearsing at choreographer-director Remo D’Souza’s Andheri studio with his assistants.

The movie will see him play father to a 13-year-old girl, but he will also play a professionally trained dancer, says Remo, and getting into shape for that, takes time.

“Salman is building his core strength right now so as to build a supple and lean body. He needs to lose weight, become lithe and agile like dancers usually are. We haven’t given him any hardcore dance steps yet, just the basic steps. He is undergoing training with my team. They are monitoring his diet and workout exercises. He is following it through. Each step requires a muscle for its movement and Salman is learning to use them accordingly.”

Talking to a daily, Remo said that it was a dream come true for him to cast Salman, as he is a big fan of the superstar. The film’s schedule hasn’t been fixed yet, but it is likely to go on floors after Sallu completes shooting for ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’.

Remo who is a “huge fan” of Salman, and has worked with him on several songs, says collaborating with him for a film is going to be a different experience altogether. “My chemistry with Salman goes long back and we have a great equation. Doing a film with him is no less than a dream,” he says.

About Salman’s peculiar dancing style, Remo says, “People think that Salman does his own style of dancing, which he doesn’t do most of the time.”

Also, Salman will reportedly play a father to a 13-year-old daughter. “I don’t see any harm in him playing a father on screen. It’s amazing how Aamir (Khan) also played such a role and got into that mode,” says Remo, adding, “ Initially, the audience didn’t like actors playing elderly roles. But the perception is changing now. The audience is now accepting that an actor can play a solo lead, an action hero and a father as well.”
