Sanjay Dutt suffers fracture on the sets of ‘Bhoomi’

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who is currently shooting for his comeback film ‘Bhoomi’ gets injured on the sets of the film recently.

According to sources, Dutt was filming an action sequence is when he was attacked by a group of goons as a part of the scene. However, in the midst of that scene, he felt a stabbing pain in his ribs.

“The action sequence, which was being filmed in Chambal, had him being attacked by a group of goons. In the midst of that scene, he felt a stabbing pain in his ribs and popped a painkiller for relief. He continued the shoot, but the pain only grew worse” reveals a source who was present on the set.

Finally, Dutt decided to make a quick visit to a local hospital and get an X-ray done. “The doctor confirmed a hairline fracture. He is on medication and has been advised complete rest. However, he is eager to wrap up the shoot by the month-end,” the source adds.

However, this is not the first time that the actor has injured himself while shooting for Bhoomi. He had suffered a minor injury on his head after he hit a pole. Sanjay took off from the sets and a doctor was called for a check-up, post which he was taken to a hospital for some tests.

Bhoomi is based on the story of a father-daughter duo. While Sanjay plays the father, Aditi Rao Hydari will be playing the role of his daughter. The film has been directed by Omung Kumar, whose last outing Sarbjit received a lot of critical appreciation.
