‘Bigg Boss 10’ finalist and popular VJ Bani J is all set to make her acting debut on TV.
The actress, who rose to fame with the reality show ‘Roadies’, will be seen as lead in the Sony Entertainment Television’s upcoming historical show ‘Porus’.
According to the source Bani has been roped in to play Queen Olympias, Alexander The Great’s mother, in Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s ‘Porus’.
The interesting thing is that Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie played the role of Queen Olympias in film ‘Alexander’.

Confirming the news to the publication, Producer said “Bani fits the role perfectly. She will join the cast for rehearsals and workshops soon.”
Bani will soon be seen in the digital space with the show titled ‘The Journey‘. It showcases the life of Bani and her growth till date. The show will telecast on VOOT from April 1.
