Shilpa Shinde who had hit the headlines last year for abruptly leaving the comedy show Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai, is back in the news for the shocking reason.
Shilpa who played Angoori bhabhi in the show has accused her producer’s husband, Sanjay Kohli, of sexual harassment and has also filed an FIR against him.
The 39-year-old actress has alleged that Kohli had often tried to take advantage of her and had also touched her inappropriately once to which she had firmly objected.

Contarary to Shinde’s allegations, Binaifer said it’s shocking that Shilpa is filing a sexual harassment case after over one year since the Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai controversy began, she added this proves her intentions behind the allegations. Binaifer also questioned Shilpa that why she remained quiet for so long, and had the allegations been true then why she didn’t file a complaint before?
“These are obviously false allegations. All I can say is that the matter is subjudice. I have faith in the legal system. I don’t want to give her (Shilpa) unnecessary attention.” she said.
“All we can say is that matter is subjudice, we have full faith in the judiciary. We will see her in court. We don’t want to give her unnecessary importance for her obvious false allegations” Binaifer added.
Now, the controversy between Shilpa Shinde and show’s producer Binaifer Kohli has taken an extremely unexpected and ugly turn.
For those who’ve come in late, Shilpa’s main problem was with the producer of the show (Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai ) Binaifer Kohli. She raised her voice against the exclusivity clause in her contract, which prevented her from working in other shows. According to Shilpa, Binaifer altered her contract illegally by adding the exclusivity clause.
