According to a report on Mid-Day, the comedian wanted to commemorate shooting of 100 episodes of the show. However, channel folks didn’t want him to party over hitting this milestone due to the ongoing tussle with Grover. The report states that the channel didn’t want another controversy over this and hence they decided to go against it. So the next episode of TKSS that you see won’t have the comedian congratulating and acknowledging his co-comedians on the show.
For the uninitiated, Kapil Sharma allegedly misbehaved with Sunil Grover, his co-actor from The Kapil Sharma Show, on a Melbourne-Mumbai flight. Post the incident, Sunil along with the cast which includes Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar has stopped shooting for the show.
The fight has definitely affected the TRP ratings of the show. It has declined on a major level and fans have even made it very apparent that they are on Sunil’s side this time.
