Bhaiyyu Maharaj’s first wife, Madhavi, had passed away in November 2015. “Guriji took the decision to remarry after his mother and sisters insisted. He was not able to devote time and take care of his mother and daughter Kuhu (15),” he said.

He had been desisting from attending public functions for last one-and-half years and has been concentrating on working for nation building and uplift farmers, by running several social projects in Maharashtra.
“Entering into matrimony is a personal decision of Guriji and has no impact on his social and spiritual activities. The work of the trust will continue as it is,” said Patil.
