There is no proof that Salman Khan’s bodyguard Shera assaulted the 25-Year old, says police

It was in October, last year when Gurmeet Singh, the bodyguard of Salman Khan, better known as Shera was accused of assaulting a 25-year old man, Athar Gulam Ansari.


It was reported in the FIR filed by the police that after the two of them got into a heated argument after midnight at 2 AM, Shera beat Ansari owing to which he got a fractured collarbone.

But, if latest reports are to be believed, the allegations which put against him and three of his aides, by a mobile repairs’ shop-owner have been found “false”.

 According to a reports, Dhanaji Nalawade, senior police inspector, said, “This was a false case registered by the complainant, and in the course of six months, there were no proofs to support the allegations. Hence, we are going to file a ‘B Summary’ report which says that there was no evidence found against Shera.”

On October 26, 2016, the DN Nagar police had detained Shera, his driver and two bodyguards for allegedly assaulting Ansari and two of his friends in Andheri (West). They said Ansari fractured his collarbone owing to the assault.

“Ansari said Shera pulled out a pistol and hit him on the shoulder with it repeatedly. Shera’s bodyguard allegedly hit Ansari on his shoulder with another sharp object,” said the police officer informing about Ansari’s complaint.

Ansari and his aides went to Cooper Hospital seeking treatment. They approached the DN Nagar police station at 5.20 am. Shera and his aides were detained for questioning, but denied all the allegations against them. Shera said Ansari was trying to defame him.

A case has been registered against Salman’s bodyguard Shera under sections 323, 326 of the Indian Penal Code at DN Nagar police station, Andheri (West) in Mumbai.
