‘Chandra Nandini’ actor Chetan Hansraj to enter in ‘Peshwa Bajirao’

It’s time to welcome fresh blood in Sony Entertainment Television’s power-packed show “Peshwa Bajirao”. The historical has been entertaining audience with some spine chilling episodes.

Chetan Hansraj, who is known for his unparalleled work in the Indian television industry, will be next seen portraying a pivotal role in “Peshwa Bajirao”.

Chetan, who is currently seen in Star Plus’ historical show “Chandra Nandini” will essay the role of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb’s eldest son Muhammad Azam Shahin the show. Hansraj has already started shooting for the show.

A source from the set informs, “Chetan Hansraj fits the character and has been finalized for the show. He has been following Peshwa Bajirao since its commencement and gave his nod for the role as soon as it was offered to him. He believes the grandeur and the authenticity of the historical drama is being picturized beautifully and is one of the biggest reason for him to come on board.”

When contacted, Chetan confirmed the news saying, “It’s a big responsibility to play Aurangzeb’s son Muhammad Azam Shah in the show. Peshwa Bajirao has successfully engrossed the audience and I am sure Azam Shah’s entry will further entertain and engage the audience.”

It is also said that the ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein‘ fame, Pavitra Punia will also join the cast. However, her character details are not yet known to us.
