After playing the girl next door for a long time, Shraddha Kapoor is all set to play the gritty underworld queen in her next film, “Haseena- The Queen of Mumbai”. The film also marks the debut of her brother Siddhanth Kapoor who will be essaying the character of Dawood Ibrahim. The real life siblings will be playing reel life siblings.
When Shraddha shared a series of character posters from the movie, it looked like she has got into the skin of the character. It would be the first time when Shraddha is playing grey character in a movie.

Shraddha Kapoor is donning salwar suit and is seen her de-glam avatar whereas Siddhanth is donning a printed shirt with gold chain and sunglasses. Their characters are engrossed in a conversation.

Shraddha went the extra mile to get under the skin of her character. Apart from undergoing a number of physical changes – by sporting prosthetics- the actress also did her bit of research in order to portray the titular role to the best of her capabilities.
Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, Haseena- The Queen of Mumbai is a biopic based on the life of Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parker. The film is scheduld to release on July 14, 2017.
